the WoRM turns one

Well, not just yet actually. His real birthday is on Thanksgiving Day this year, but we celebrated it with friends and family today! We had a really cute Winnie the Pooh cake (it's called a pull away cake, made out of cupcakes), and Warren even had his own cake to get down and dirty in. Although, I have to say that he was very neat and gentle with his cake. Rather dainty, actually??

Instead of gifts, we asked people to bring things to include in a time capsule which Warren will open when he's 21 years old. We got lots of really neat things...some we can't even open yet.

So, I'm a little bit behind.... but, last weekend we went searching for the perfect pumpkin! Warren's first experience in a pumpkin patch. We also attempted to carve it, though the WoRM didn't like the guts at all!! (He takes after his father.)

We're getting ready for his first birthday party on the 17th! Crazy....I can't believe he's almost one. Though, when I think of all the ear infections, it seems like he should be about 21. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday and will probably have a referral to the ENT from there. We'll see.

Other than that, the WoRM is walking all over the place....into everything and just, this morning, learned how to stick out his tongue. He thinks he is really something!
