| Is everyone good with my plan? If so, give me a "thumbs up!" |
All I can say is that we've made it to Week 4!! It hasn't been easy, but we did it! Warren loves the
idea of being a soccer player, but clearly his priorities are elsewhere. This week was "game week" where the kids played games rather than completed the drills. We were fairly certain one of two things would happen. 1 - Like any good parent, we thought Warren would be a natural....the star of the game. 2 - Warren would have melt down after melt down when he either a) didn't get the ball or b) wasn't the fastest person on the team. If you sided with 1....while we do appreciate the high praise, I would invite you over to our house for a glimpse into the life of Warren. If you chose 2, you are correct...although "meltdown" is a bit of an exaggeration.
The game was spent running back and forth between the rest of the team and giving Harper a kiss. Oh, and when that wasn't going on, Warren was laying in the grass making grass angels or holding conversations with the clouds. Or, spinning around until he made himself so dizzy he fell down. Clearly, there was too much going on to be involved in actually kicking or defending the ball...or being part of the team, for that matter.
